Mita Vora is a Mumbai-based contemporary artist whose creative journey began in 2014. Born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, she holds a diploma in Interior Design from Nirmala Niketan College of Polytechnic, Mumbai.

Mita is a passionate and trained artist, gradually emerging as a notable presence in the Indian contemporary art scene. Her body of work reflects a deep commitment to artistic exploration, and she has exhibited in over three solo exhibitions and twelve group shows across India.

Mita finds her muse in the majestic tiger, drawing inspiration from its grace and power. Her artworks, often rendered in monochrome ink, are characterized by subtle infusions of color – especially around the eyes – bringing a sense of vitality and emotion to each piece. Her work captures the quiet strength and layered complexity of the natural world, often reflecting themes rooted in contemporary realities.
